This is a sour version of our highly rated Walter Malone watermelon wheat. You don’t need to worry about needing to do a kettle sour or needing to wait a long time for the beer to be ready. This recipe uses Lallemand Philly Sour yeast which produces moderate amounts of lactic acid in addition to ethanol in one simple fermentation step. This lets you easily brew a sour beer and bottle or keg it in a few weeks.
To make an all grain batch of beer you will need some advanced homebrew equipment or a Brewzilla or Grainfather.
