Hallertau Blanc is a German hop variety that was released in 2012 as a higher alpha acid alternative to other traditional German hop varieties. It is known for its fruity, wine-like characteristics, reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc, hence the name. This hop variety is often associated with flavors and aromas of grape, peach, and white wine, along with subtle grassy and floral notes, offering a unique palette of flavors and aromas to brewers.
