Weyermann Caramunich® Type III is a dark caramel malt with a color rating typically around 56 to 68 Lovibond. It imparts a rich, caramel-toffee sweetness, dark amber to copper color, and full body to the beer. Additionally, it enhances the malt aroma and improves the beer’s mouthfeel and foam stability.
Given its characteristics, Weyermann Caramunich® Type III malt is well-suited for a variety of beer styles, particularly those that benefit from robust malt sweetness and a darker color:
- Doppelbock and Dark Lagers: The malt contributes to the rich malty profile and deep color of these traditional German beer styles.
- Belgian Dubbels and Quadrupels: Its dark caramel sweetness complements the complex flavors of these strong Belgian ales.
- Porters and Stouts: Caramunich® Type III can be used to add sweetness, color, and body to these dark, robust beers.
- Barleywines: The malt adds depth of flavor and richness to this high-alcohol beer style.
- Scottish Ales: It provides additional malt complexity and sweetness to Scottish Ales, particularly the stronger Wee Heavy style.

Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. If it's been more than 30 days since the date you bought the item, we unfortunately can't give you a complete refund or exchange.
In order for your item to be returned, it must be unopened and in the same state as you received it. It should also be returned in its original packaging.
